The KASE system is FLAWED because the magnetic lens caps and stack caps don’t attach and FALL OFF and cannot be trusted. They crush KASE for usability and adaptability. I am using the 82mm Freewill magnetic filter system. They have been mothballed along with all my 77mm filters and thick 82mm filters like Breakthrough Filters 82mm X4 CPO. It’s been a long costly journey, but the technology,performance and quality has arrived to allow me to carry into the field two very slim lightweight magnetic filters CPOL/ND to attach to any lens I own. The Freewell system is unique because they are the only magnetic system that allows you the option of using non freewell magnetic filters due to their design of including front threads on their filter rings and step up-rings. The cost to commit was $1,200 in Freewell mag step up rings, Xume 82mm mag lens ring, Freewell 82mm Lens Caps, and Freeweel mag back caps. I have decided to commit to Freewell’s 82mm magnetic platform for my filter needs on all my F-Mount and Z mount lenses.
